I cannot turn up audio on my Galaxy cell when i make a call or get a call. Useless as a cell to me

Hello, welcome to the Community, and thanks for reaching out. I can certainly understand the inconvenience of not being able to adjust certain calls' volumes. First, we should try to rule out a third-party application causing the behavior, using Safe mode: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS10003495/
If you can adjust volume in Safe mode during calls, then uninstall third-party applications until normal functionality is restored.

Next thing to try is a factory reset. Back up everything you can beforehand (https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS10002780/) then perform the factory reset: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062029/

If the troubleshooting is not helpful, the phone will need to be evaluated by a certified technician.
