To move files from your Android internal storage to an SD card, open the File Manager app (my files), select the files you want to move, and choose the option to move them to the SD card. Make sure your SD card is properly inserted and recognized by your device

It depends on what you want to save to the SD card. You can save photos and screen shots to the SD card as default. In the camera settings, go to storage location and change it to SD card. Same with screen shots and screen recordings. Go to settings/advanced features/screen shots and screen recordings and change the storage location.
