How do I get rid of the smart home media status on my lock/notification screen?

I currently have a YouTube video playing on a Google device in my house. Somehow my phone is picking up on that and it's showing the media controls for it on my phone. How do I disable this?

Unfortunately that also turns off the widget for music playing on my phone.

I finally found it! Go to Settings > Google > Devices & sharing > Cast options and then Turn off Media controls for Cast devices.
