Galaxy S Phones
I want to check whether I’m missing a setting or if this is simply a limitation of the current Samsung ecosystem.

I use an S25 Ultra as my primary device and a Z Fold 7 as my secondary device. I also use a Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Ring, plus a Galaxy Book 360 Pro. Since the Fold lineup launched, I’ve always maintained both phones because they each serve different roles with different strengths and weaknesses.

Here’s where I’m running into friction, and I’m hoping someone can tell me if there’s a workaround I’m overlooking:

---

1. Using one watch/ring with two Samsung phones

From what I’ve experienced, a Samsung wearable can only be actively paired to one phone at a time. Switching requires full unpairing/repairing.
Is there any supported method to have the watch and ring function across both phones without resetting every time?

---

2. Samsung Health notifications don’t sync between devices

Example:
If I dismiss a medication reminder on my S25 Ultra, my Z Fold continues alerting until I silence it manually — even though both phones are logged into the same Samsung Health account.

Is there a way to make Samsung Health notifications sync across multiple devices?

---

3. Real-time health data doesn’t populate on the secondary phone

Steps, workouts, heart rate, etc., appear instantly on the paired phone, but the secondary device only updates after I manually open Samsung Health and let it sync. If my watch isn’t on Wi-Fi, the data doesn’t sync until I return home.

Is this expected behavior, or is there a setting that enables more real-time syncing?

---

4. Multi-device users seem to run into unnecessary friction

This setup probably isn’t the norm, but users who buy multiple Samsung phones (especially S-Series + Fold users) tend to be your most invested customers — the ones most likely to use the ecosystem heavily.

Right now it feels like the software ecosystem doesn’t quite support people who rotate between two Samsung phones, even though the hardware definitely encourages having both.

---

If I’m missing something, I would truly appreciate the guidance.

And if these are limitations of the current system, I hope Samsung considers improving multi-device interoperability. Even small changes — like account-level notification syncing or allowing wearables to move between devices more fluidly — would make a huge difference.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can shed light on this.

I am not aware of any set of devices, regardless of manufacturer or ecosystem, that accomplishes what you are asking for.

The idea behind a device ecosystem (like Samsung's or Apple's) is to use a smartphone as a hub for interoperability with your other devices.

When you switch between primary and secondary phones, you are functionally swapping out the central component of the ecosystem and thus your wearable devices need to be disconnected and reconnected when you switch between phones.

While I wouldn't anticipate substantial changes any time soon, because it would likely require a fundamental reconstruction of how connected devices function, you can request improvements to Samsung health data syncing by visiting the support tab in this app and navigating to "send feedback."

A wearable can only be connected to one phone. One phone can be connected to multiple wearbles. You can pair your ring with one fevice and your watch with another. You can have multiplre watches, each paired with a different phone, but you cannot pair all your devices to the same watch/ring
