I was interested in using one of the songs or ringtones in the Samsung over the horizon ringtone collection for the 2016 S7/S9 Models.

My Intention is to use the song and add more to it, but I was looking to find permission to use it strictly for non-commercially and for public performance to remix the selected track, "Skyscraper" from Over The Horizon as a tribute the original track.

I haven't uploaded the track, as before i do I wanted to have permission to use it for non-commercial, public performance and also crediting the original creators.

Before uploading or continuing, I was hoping to have permission granted or seek opinion from the owners to confirm that I can use the song to remix to add onto its own individual character.

The song is not currently online and is strictly a work of creativity, no intention of monetization is intended ever. I understand that there would be issues but I would like to consult with a professional from Samsung before proceeding with anything at all in regards to making it public, to respect Samsung's copyright procedures.

The track is dear as it brings memories as is the reason I remixed the song as a tribute to the fluency and overall quality to the Samsung S7/S9 device and as a receptacle for the memories it helped make with the convenience it offered.

If I cannot receive permission or clearance, I will not upload the song and most likely delete it.

Thank you for anyone who replies to this inquiry.

I would suggest contacting Samsung directly since this is a user to user support community and no one here would be able to give permission to use it.
