I bought 2 of these rings in December 2024, by the end of December 2025, just after warranty expiration, started having trouble with charging. Now one stopped tracking sleep and needed to be charged daily or it died. I have purchased numerous Samsung products and always been happy with them, but this ring is a huge dissapointment. It is basically a disposible item, throw away when it stops working. In my case just over a year. Not a good investment. I will say that when it did work I found it to be quite accurate.
Same experience here. Mine died suddenly right after my warranty expired. This appears to be a very common occurrence, as several of my acquaintances experienced the exact same thing. Shame on Samsung for not addressing this issue and helping their lifelong customers deal with it. Besides the poor quality/design, Samsung health tracking is a joke. I have an Oura Ring 4, and it is far more accurate. After my Ring died, I jumped onto the Apple wagon and bought an iPhone 17 Pro Max and an Apple Watch Ultra 3, and let me tell you, their health tracking makes Samsung look like an incompetent joke when it comes to health tracking. Nothing is remotely accurate, and there is no way to fix it. My Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 and Watch 8 report me sleeping literally several hours too late. Exercise tracking is more like using a Barbie toy watch and ring. Very disappointing, especially when they don't even stand behind their hardware. I am still heavily invested in the Samsung ecosystem and I love both my Samsung S25 Ultra and Z Fold 6, but I think I will be transitioning out after this Ring debacle and the Z Fold 7 eliminating the S Pen.
