Galaxy Note Phones

I was a Galaxy user for about 10 years (starting with the S1 until the S7) and one thing that always drove me crazy was how my phones would slow down after a year or two. I eventually switched to iPhone with the 12 Pro, and 5 years later it still feels just as smooth as the day I got it.

Now I’m considering going back to Android with the S26, but I don’t want to deal with the same old performance issues if Samsung hasn’t really fixed this.

For those of you who’ve stuck with Samsung in recent years, how does long-term performance hold up? Are they still prone to slowing down or is it finally on par with iOS for longevity?

I love Samsung bc you can customize a lot but for S series it sucks!!

I've had my note 20 for over 4 or 5 years, and it's still faster than my laptop and, in my opinion, works at appx 97% the speed as when I first got it. And the only reason it's a little slower is because my storage is about 99% full. I've been procrastinating moving photos and files over, but once I do, I'm certain it will run like new.
