Unable to unlock Note 20 with Verizon

I need someone to tell me what to do. I got a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 from Verizon in Chester, Illinois. I put a large down payment on it and I was making my payments according to the contract. I had almost paid my phone completely off but the worker who sold me the phone broke the contract by trying to make me pay a large amount and I told him no. So he cancelled the contract and after a few months he sold the remainder of the bill, which wasn't much, to a bill collector for 1200.00. About a year later I went in to Verizon to discuss it because I have to have a phone due to illness and they went into the computer and saw where the worker did illegal activity with my account and they told me he was terminated shortly thereafter. And according to Verizon, they said I don't owe anything because their worker broke the contract. But Verizon nor the agency who bought my bill will not unlock my phone! What can I do about this?

Someone else told me this and according to Verizon my account is clear because the worker broke the contract. But he sold it to a bill collector and kept the money and this is why he was terminated. But the bill collectors will not unlock the phone until I give them another 1200.00 and I'm not going to do that.

I read this and we discussed this. I'm in the clear with Verizon but the worker made off with 1200 of the bill collectors money from my phone that I only had a few more payments to go when he did this illegal activity.

I think it would be better if you explore other carriers cause verizon not sure if is the best option

If the bill collection and verizon show all clear than your phone will be able to be unlocked

The bill collector is not showing all clear because they bought the bill from Verizon for 1200.00. the worker kept the money and I'm not going to pay another 1200.00. If I did that, this phone will have cost me 2400.00. They need to go after Verizon and give me my phone.

Personally I would dispute it with the collection agency and have verizon contact them to settle it as for the rep that's a criminal matter
