Galaxy Note PhonesNote 8 & 9 origionally purchased through Verizon. Both work with Verizon SIM card. Verizon tech says the phones are not locked. I reset network settings. Incerted a Consumer Cellular SIM card, rebooted. But it says " SIM card is not from Verizion" and will not work on with a Consumer Cellular SIM card. on both my note 8 and note 9.
I also have a Note 10 and the Consumer Cellular SIM card.does work on my Note 10.
How can I remove Verizon from the phones 8 & 9?

Galaxy Note PhonesHopefully a Samsung rep/tech will chime in on how to resolve this. The phones work, but my wife and I are power users of our phones. My FIL's phone broke and he is on CC, this is a perfect fit for him.

Galaxy Note PhonesThis is *not* a Samsung issue, it is a Verizon issue. You must get them to unlock the phone. You purchased the phone through Verizon, so it is a Verizon locked model, it has to be unlocked before you can put another carrier's SIM into it, even if that carrier piggybacks off Verizon's network.
