S-Pen has been getting stuck recently

Sometimes the little clicker on the bottom to take it out gets stuck and i need to use a safety pin or pencil to get it out Can anyone help me out and tell me why this happens?? My S-Pen is completely clean.

What phone do you have? Sometimes this can be an indication that the phone battery is going bad and swelling.
