My phones volume sounds significantly lower after a recent device update. Anyone know if there are any volume boosters that work well?

Try wiping the phones cache. This will fix most issues associated with interference between new updates and old firmware.

As you see the recovery mode, let the keys go.

Now use Volume Down button to highlight “wipe cache partition” option.

Press the power button to enter the wipe cache partition option.

Once again, press Volume Down to highlight “Yes”.

In the end, press power button to wipe Galaxy Note 9 cache.

Reboot your phone into the system now.

Clear Galaxy Note 9 application cache without losing data

This method is to clear the cache of a particular application. Follow these steps carefully.

On your Note 9, open Settings.

Now in Settings, open Applications or Application Manager.

Open all the running applications now.

You will see a list of applications, open the target application now.

Click on “Storage” in the settings of that application.

Now you will see two options: Clear Cache and Clear Data.

Click on “Clear Cache“. Do not click on Delete Data.

Reboot your phone now. Done.

I have tried wipe cache partition option.  I have reset my network settings, I have turned media sync on and off.  I have turned dual source on and off.  So far nothing has restored the volume.

I have ALL voumes set to max and can barely hear phone calls through my headset.  I am hard of hearing and this is effecting my income.  Can't work with clients if I can't hear them.  Anyone have any suggestions

Just to clarify are you experiencing these symptoms through the speaker on your phone or a headset?
