I lost a very important feature on my Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G and dont know how or why it was lost. Initially The number of unread sms messages were displayed inside the red circle on the meassage icon on my app screen. I would know how many unread sms messages I had before tapping and opening the app. About a month ago, this feature no longer displayed my unread sms messages. I now have to tap on and open the sms message app before I can see or know the number of unread sms messages.
I would like to get this feature back on my phone. Can anyone help me fix this issue? Much thanks
