For some reason my Note 20 no longer plays custom ringtones i have assigned to specific contacts. I can see the tone assigned but it still does the default ringtone. This started 2 months ago. Permissions are granted for music and audio for Phone and Contract apps. So what could have happened
Hey there @andre23, and thank you for reaching out to us! I can totally understand how not having your ringtones you've chosen aren't playing and am happy to assist you!
Give the following steps a try:
1. Put the phone in Safe Mode
2. Clear your cache
3. If that doesn't work, make sure your phone is up-to-date on the latest software
4. In the event the update doesn't work, try factory resetting your phone
In the event none of this works, the phone will require service. You can send a private message to myself or any of the mods here, so we can get you set up with service, or you can contact your local repair center.
