Bombarded by ads

I am totally bombarded by ads & no virus protection or malaria is showing anything wrong. I have deleted a bunch of my apps. ANY help out there,?

The ads may be coming from a third-party app you have installed. Download Good Lock from the Galaxy Store and install the Nice Catch module. Toggle "toast history" and "detect commercials" to help find the offending app.

Might I suggest, don't download apps that are free. These are the usual culprits, especially GAMES!

Ok, simply factory refresh your device (after deactivating your passcode).

For metro device (OLDER)- delete the metrozone or deactivate it.

For any CO-Branded devices- anything that's not samsung and had a relative feature like metrozone are what's causing the lag and slowdown.
For the random apps installing, you will need to Uninstall a "certain" app installing manager based on your CSC or phone service. These are considered bloatware.

I would factory reset the phone and download only known certified apps

Also: if you download "free" games or apps, make sure they don't have the permission to "install other apps". Remember that if you use a product or service you aren't paying for, YOU are the product. Your personal information is being sold in exchange for your use of the app; or you will be bombarded with ads so they can monetize it.
