After surviving todayโs monstrous traffic jam, I finally reached home. Three hours of being stuck in chaos, my body screamed for rest. I just wanted to crash on my bed.
Walking down my lane, mind full of random thoughts, I lazily pulled my buds out of my ears and stuffed them into my pocket. I was too drained to reach for the case in my bag. A random thought flickered: What if I drop one by accident? I shrugged it offโโโnah, nothing happened.

Almost home, I finally decided to put the buds in their case. Opened it up and the left bud was gone.
Instant panic. I started imagining the worst. That tiny piece of tech could be anywhere on the road.
Then I rememberedโโโSamsung Find.
Opened the app, checked the last connected location. It showed one bud near my house (no. 31) and the other near house no. 25. At least a clue. Panic dropped from 100% to 80%.
I walked over, following the map. Suddenly both buds showed โconnected.โ My heart lit up. Butโฆ still no bud in sight. That little was invisible.
Flashlight on. Eyes scanning like Sherlock. Still nothing. Panic rose again.
Then it hit meโโโthese buds have a โring to findโ option. I tapped it. A sound came. Relief! But waitโฆ wrong bud.
Manually selected the missing one. Silence. My heart sank again. Then I spotted the volume raise option. Maxed it out.
And there it was. A faint beep beep in the dark. I followed the sound like a detective in a crime drama. Step by step. Louder, louderโฆ found it.
The relief? Priceless.
Thatโs when I realized the perks of spending on expensive gear. My Samsung Buds 2 Pro didnโt just give me great music and migraine-saving ANCโโโthey also gave me peace of mind, thanks to the ecosystem and Samsung Find.
Great post. I've lost countless singles of expensive earbuds sets. This works as long as the battery is not depleted(?). Otherwise, one may find single buds for sale on eBay or AliExpress sometimes, depending on the brand and model. It would be helpful if the manufacturers offered replacement singles and/or charging cases for purchase. Thank you for reminding me to act quickly if it happens again.
