I wouldn't hope for the custom eq anyway, if I were you. It's garbage, at least in use with my Buds3 Pro. Any adjustment to any frequency slider causes the overall volume to drop dramatically. Just thought that might ease your mind some.

Well yeah if i were to pull up low frequencies ofc the highs would drop bc the powershift on what speaker takes more energy. Its not like we are using an amp and stereo set where you can tune without consequence

I'm just letting you know there is a MAJOR volume decrease when you use it. It's not for me, that's for sure.

I'm 67, obviously I need the volume. Went to a TON of concerts in the 70's and early 80's lol.

There's no reason not to have a custom volume level as well, as was said, the power-spectrum shift when adjusting any of the Adapt sound levels will not have a linear effect on the apparent levels of the others simply because although on the S25U Adapt sound appears to be 12-band EQ (which is a mean of 1.67kHz per band for common audio sources) it's obviously non-linear or harmonic if you prefer. It would be useless in linear bands, middle C is about 261kHz and top C is about 1067kHz, so a whole piano keyboard would fit in the first Adapt sound level if the bands were linear which would be useless for adjustment. But most of the music power spectrum is typically between about 100Hz to 2kHz, so adjusting any of the bands most people will be able to hear will have a big effect on the apparent sound level heard at a single volume setting.

Just checked using my S25U and with my Buds2 Pro then Buds3 Pro. The Wear EQ doesn't permit custom EQ for the Buds2 Pro but does for the Buds3 Pro. The Android Adapt sound EQ appears to be 12-band, the Wear one is 9-band. Both are obviously harmonic frequency delta between frequencies adjusted. OP could always upgrade the earbuds to get custom EQ in the Wear App. New Buds3 Pro cost about $250 from Samsung in the US but trade-ins are still offered and a Buds2 Pro trade-in halves the price to $125. No, I don't work for Samsung, yes you could report as a bug in the Wear app. I would have little expectation that Samsung would modify it for Buds2 given the functionality exists in the Wear app but is only operational for Bud3's.

Not sure how you don't have this feature. I have always had equalizer AND the adapt sound option. Both are running on both of my Buds3 Pro.

Open Galaxy Wearable app or Galaxy Buds manager >sound quality and effects > Equalizer 1750923017936.jpg1750923017949.jpg1750923017968.jpg

I know, I said the same in the post, re-read and take care following when I'm talking about Buds2 Pro and Buds3 Pro. I have both, the OP was asking only about Buds2 Pro.
