I put both buds to charge in the case, came back 2 hours and only the left one was fully charged. I left right earbud in there for another 2 hours n still no charge and the galaxy wearables app just shows an exclamation point for the right ear bud.

I'm sorry your dealing with such issues and id be glad to assist you in this matter.
In this case your best option would be to contact samsung directly as their are no service center that will physically service the Ear buds onsite these items are usually shipped out with proof purchase or further inspection down below i have attached a link

For shipping repair, you need to call Samsung, the hotline is indicated in this link: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/contact/

The left of my Galaxy buds is not charging despite my efforts. The case charges the right one but does not even connect to the left anymore. I have cleaned the case and checked for any clear damage and there seems to be none. Also, it wont let me update the software becuase the left bud is only at %5.

Please help, thanks.

@user2XBq6KI3QN When did you start experiencing these symptoms? Did your left bud ever charge with the charging case?

@user2XBq6KI3QN and @fernandoooo Are you using the original charging cable that came with the Galaxy buds? Do you experience these symptoms if you trying charging your buds wirelessly?

Problems started a few days before I posted my comment. Yes it charged in the case before. I use the original cable and I tried with a wire and without. It charges the right earbud just fine.

Thank you for that information. I would recommend an accessory exchange. Can I please have your full model number, serial number, and place of purchase in a private message: http://bit.ly/2JH2rq2

@SamsungAdamYes i i am using those methods, i think charging it wont do anything because i think the left earbud is actually broken or defective/disfunctional.

If you are experiencing this symptom and the troubleshooting steps have not helped I would recommend an exchange for your buds. You can visit your retailer if you are still within their exchange/return period, however, if you are outside your retailer's exchange/return period, Samsung was your retailer, or you would prefer to go through Samsung please send me a private message with the bud's full model code, serial number, and proof of purchase and I'd be more than happy to assist you.

Check that the band around the earbud, which holds it in your ear, is properly seated around the earbud with the slot lined up with the tab on the earbud.

I am having the same problem. I have had them for about 3 weeks. The left bud will not charge at all and will not connect to the right or to my phone.
