I, like so many others, am having severe issues with my ears after wearing my Buds Pro. I awoke this morning at 3:30 with very wet ears. They also are very itchy.

This is the second time this has happened. The first time I had the same symptoms. But, after my ears began to heal, the flaking and extreme itching began. I noticed it began not long after wearing them. I discontinued use.

Last night, I wanted to try again. I wiped down the silicone tips with alcohol. I wore them for roughly 10 minutes and here we are. Wide awake on a work day with awful symptoms.

I own multiple Samsung devices. My televisions (2), 4K UHD Bluray, sound bar and surround sound, phones, tablets and I just bought the Galaxy Book Go. I love that I can connect everything. Needless to say, I am disappointed in the Buds.

What can be done to make this right? Thank you.

I have the galaxy earbuds pro and 2 weeks ago they caused an ear infection/allergic reaction.  I saw the Dr., got drops, didn't use the earbuds at all for 2 weeks.  I thoroughly cleaned the tips and buds themselves.  Yesterday I tried wearing them for 20 minutes and they caused another reaction, with ear swelling, itchiness, fluid running.  This is even worse and more severe than last time..  Back to the Dr.'s office it is.  I liked the product, but I can't keep using them.

I have experienced the same symptoms other users are experiencing. Just wanted to share a little information.  First Samsung has sent me a shipping kit to send them to Samsung so that their engineers can examine my buds. But what I wanted to share is that while I was waiting to see my doctor I tried to treaty symptoms at home. What I have discovered is that although neosporin had no effect on relieving my symptoms an antifungal ointment prescribed by my dentist does clear up my ears within a couple of days. This leads me to believe that this reaction is some type of yeast infection. I am posting a photo of the ointment for reference. With the disclaimer that I am not a physician and this ointment was not prescribed for my ears. I only tried this ointment because I was researching antibiotics that treat ear infections. As my symptoms are on the outer ear exactly where my buds make contact I felt safe in trying it. It worked.

That is not strictly an antifungal medication, therefore you should not assume this was a yeast infection.
Triamcinalone is a Corticosteroid which would act more on inflammatory or allergic causes.
Therefore, it is just as probable that you have an allergy or even chemical sensitivity to the ear-tips and get relief from the steroid ingredient.

I bought a set of memory foam earbud tips to replace the stock tips. The itching went away immediately and I'm able to keep my Galaxy Buds Pros in for hours at a time.
