As the title says, I have the Galaxy Buds Pro (1st Gen). I've had it for about 3 years now. In my country, the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro is currently on sale for about 50% off. I am not experiencing any issues with my current buds, but I am craving for an upgrade. However, I am seeing a lot of negative posts from consumers experiencing problems concerning durability and charging.

Please convince me that I do not need to upgrade.

Just wait for the buds 4 to be announced. I have the 3 pro, they're pretty good, but the batteries only last maybe 4 hours max. That, and they never got comfortable

I love mine and I've had every iteration, no problems at all, I wear one at a time, all day long, don't even know I'm wearing them. They have never fallen out.

Dont do it. Buds 3 Pro are not worth the price. I preordered mine and they are just ok but nothing more. Pro 2 was definitely better. Aside from terrible battery life I am having issue with charging (one bud chargers more than the other one) and taking out the silicone tips is a nightmare of it own. If you dont believe me just do a quick google search and you will see for yourself. Also fun fact you cant get them fixed at ubreak i fix. You have to mail them to Samsung BUT they dont tell you that if you initiate the warranty claim online. Mine are currently under repair but I dont think they will get fixed properly.

I would wait too. One of the big issues reported a lot the week they were released was that the Buds3 Pro were very noisy outdoors in variable, gusty wind if ANC is enabled. Basically there is no protection for the microphones from noise caused by variable incident wind. Samsung will never acknowledge it other than by implication when they announce a Buds version with ANC does a great job in outdoor, windy environments. The Buds3 Pro sound great. Best set of headphones I had heard for years but I got tired of the bass emphasis, you can set a personal EQ config for the Buds3 Pro that helps a lot but I'm used to radio studio headphones that have a very flat frequency response and bought bluetooth over ear headphones with similar response. The Buds3 Pro have better noise reduction in non-windy locations but I still prefer the sound of the over ear phones.
