Buds 3 Pro drops music but still responds to touch commands

Occasionally the left OR right earbud will drop music while playing from Spotify or Amazon Music. The affected earbud will still respond to touch commands (with the phone acknowledging the touch). Sometimes if I disconnect and reconnect Bluetooth the affected earbud will start playing again...but sometimes it stays silent. After putting them back in the case they seem to work just fine. Very frustrating, especially without access to my case while running.

Pixel 8 with Android 16
Buds with version R630XXU0AYB3
Both buds at near full charge (while running)

You should run the diagnostics for the earbuds, available here in the Members app in the Support tab.

Did your buds fail any of the diagnostic tests provided?

They passed all the tests.

I'm wondering if I need to do it in the error state? It would be a lucky coincidence to have them connected to my tablet and be able to test them (they're usually connected to my phone which is not a Samsung product and can't run the Members app).
