Hi Everyone, I recently made a switch from apple to a fold 7, the phone is great but one annoying issue I am experiencing is that when I place the phone in the car on the charge pad its makes a notification noise and repeats every few seconds until the car is started. I have gone through all the notification history and turned them all to silent, but it still makes the notification noise. I don't want to silence everything when driving , just want to turn off the offending notification
Thank you, I adjusted the setting but it still doing it. When the phone is placed on the charge pad and car not running it makes a notification noise and brings up the picture of digital car key. it will do this 3 times about 2 seconds apart then stops.
Download Good Lock's Nice Catch module, turn on sound history and then check the app right after you hear the notification sound and see which app is making it.
Expanding on @LongHiker 's idea, can it be an unknown tracker alert? If you didn't put a smart tag on/in your car, perhaps someone else did. In any case, Nice Catch should help you suss out what app is causing the sound.

Thank you for all your help, I finally tracked it down to the digital vehicle key that I placed in the Samsung wallet. Despite turning off all the notifications and using the downloaded module , the only way to stop the audible notification was removing the digital key from the wallet. Now , no more annoying notification tones when the mobile is placed in recharging cradle of car.
Yeah, I would imagine that if you placed your digital car key into the wallet it would automatically prompt you to unlock/start your car when it was within range. If you are not going to use the digital key regularly, you likely are better off just leaving it to its own app. There might be a way to turn off the automatic connection and still keep it in your wallet until you need/want to use it, but since I don't use digital keys, I can't tell you how.
