I'll be using it in open mode, and it will just go to lock screen. I can't *make it* do it, and it doesn't appear to be connected to any noticable pattern, button touch, app, etc. and I'm not folding it at all.
It just goes to lock screen. Probably happens 3 times in 15 minutes. I just unlock it with fingerprint and it's fine until it happens again. Its been happening for a few weeks. I've restarted it, cleared cache, etc.
I have Samsung Care +, but not sure it's a "serious issue" yet. It sure is annoying though!
Update: I got a replacement fold 6 from Samsung Care+. It does the same thing. The thing is, everytime it does it, it doesn't just go to the lock screen, but it locks, and then delays the option to unlock for 3-5 seconds. I was giving a presentation using my phone for notes and it did that twice.
Very very frustrating.
It also happens when it's NOT open, and I'm just using the cover screen.
Update: I'm on the newly rolled out One UI 8 Beta (for 12 hours now) and it SEEMS like the โ๐ป "random lock bug" has been fixed. It was happening constantly yesterday with One UI7 and has not happened once since I updated. ๐ค๐ป
