My Fold 1, running Android 12 last available firmware, began infinite bootlooping (wont boot past cellular carrier logo before restarting) on ~Oct 2nd, exactly when Samsung pushed the faulty Smartthings framework update version 2.2.01.1. This particular update is reported as breaking all its devices running on Android 12 (Fold 1, S10s, Note 10, M51, A90, etc.).

There are reports that the Samsung service centers in Korea can recover the devices and maintain data, without factory resetting. However, none of the US-based authorized service centers (UBreakIfix), or other external countries', have the fix or are even aware of the issue.  This is unacceptable.

My fold 1 is in pristine condition, well kept, and has had zero issues prior to this Samsung faulty software push. Telling users to factory reset or "just buy a new phone" is also unacceptable. These devices are expensive, personally integrated technology and not simple perishable items.

Samsung needs to push out the firmware fixes for ALL its devices running Android 12 to all of its repair centers, to enable users to save their data and restore the phone to its previous functionality before they broke it.
