Hi! I've looked for years for a way to utilize Google Assistant when my Samsung flip is closed. I've not found any way to enable this valuable functionality. One of the best features about the Samsung flip is the Cover Screen and ability to use features when the phone is closed. Yet functionality is limited for Google Assistant when the phone is flipped closed. I'm not interested in enabling swipe gestures as a workaround. I want Google Assistant to work, with full functionality, when my phone is flipped closed. Is there a way to enable this functionality? If not how do I get this escalated? Is this a Google issue or Samsung issue, or both?
Once the Z Flip5 receives the One UI 8 update, Google Gemini will be enabled and be able to fully function using the cover screen. The updates to that model should be happening sometime next month.
