I apologize, but the call recording feature doesn't have an auto-record setting. The only way to start a call recording is to press the button to initiate recording. You can submit an error report by clicking on the Support tab at the bottom of the Members app.

When the error occurs you have 15 minutes to put in an error report. To put in an error report it can only be done in the Members app. On the discovery page there are 3 tabs , the last one being support. Go to the support tab, scroll down to Send Feedback, tap on the arrow, select a category (settings/system) frequency (often) describe what is happening. At the top there will be an arrow icon, tap on it to send. Do not close the members app until the logs have been completed. You will get a prompt that it has completed. That's it.
I have never had the record button activate on its own, you have to tab on it.
Question about how you hold your phone to your face, are you a shoulder holder? Are you using your phone pressed against your face while it sits on your shoulder? This can lead to accidentally activating the record button.
I am sorry you cannot disable this feature. As an alternative you can download Phone by Google and use their dialer instead.
