This was a strange choice for me, the only way to toggle back to page style is by switching the sorting of the app drawer.

Thank you for your feedback. 

Search bar can be hidden if you change the setting to Home screen only (Setting > Home screen layout > Home screen only), but "Search bar concept" will remain in the App screen page as of now. 

We will keep monitoring the community board for more feedback on the search bar design.

Well thats not what we are wanting here. That disables the app drawer.
