Social Media App Performance

Is anyone else experiencing lag and slow downs in social media apps? I am experiencing them with Instagram and X(twitter) Sometimes the keyboard typing is really laggy and the app itself overall

Samsung has nothing to do with the coding of social media apps.

Really? I wouldn't have guessed that one. It's not like I'm trying to see if anyone else is experiencing this so I can further identify the issue I am facing.

Social media apps are written by the companies that own them. Developers who work for Meta write Meta apps, developers who work for Bytedance write TikTok, so on and so forth. The only things Samsung has control over are Samsung apps and the operating system itself.

Edit: Missed the sarcasm in your response on first read. Complaints about social media apps and folks not understanding who writes them is an ongoing issue in these forums.

Yeah I understand. I'm not the typical user, I understand how things work and am not ignorant 😂😂. Some posts I've made were purposely worded to get an answer.

I just wanted to see if I was the only one dealing with these issues.

Lag and slowdowns in social media apps like Instagram and X can sometimes occur after Beta update, but you can try clearing app's cache/data, switching to Samsung Keyboard, change display motion smooth setting to Standard (60Hz) from Adaptive, or simply, submit an error report back to us 🙂
