S25 has stable one UI 7 since January and now we have to wait more weeks to get it on last year's flagship? Samsung is the only major android flagship from last year still running android 14 pretty pathetic. Won't be buying Samsung again. Not to mention they basically lead us on leaving us entirely in the dark until the very last minute just to release another beta. Samsung is worse than apple.
Only reason why there's going to be another beta (4) is to give time for the s25 sales. Its a marketing tactic. If other devices had stable Android 15 people would not be amp to go buy the s25. If you look at the change log for the next beta update you will notice that the only change is the color scheme. Samsung is the only manufacturer that has not rolled out stable Android 15. Again, its a marketing tactic to push the s25 which is not far better then the s24. S25 may be slightly faster but you wont notice it and the downgrade of the spen has a lot of users detered.
Out of principal, I won't be getting the 25U. Marginal update with the new chip that every other Android manufacturer will have. Downgrade of the sPen, completely unnecessary. Software development and deployment do cost money but nothing really ground breaking.
Add to all if this, the marketing tactic of holding out on the previous year flagship models and delaying the release of features and updates, is just deplorable.
So, if you got the 25U, enjoy your phone. If you are keeping your 24U, enjoy your phone.
Message to Samsung, you won't always be the only game in town. One Plus is on the rise. Maybe Google. Others too, if folks are willing to import. So, don't rest on your laurels. You are not Apple. Android users have choices. Stop playing games.
