New Beta feels like an actual Beta

I was so excited to get Beta 4 on my S24. Since I downloaded it, my phone ran great. It felt like a complete software, minus the Now Brief, and I was okay with that. 

Then I heard about Beta 5, checked for updates, nothing. Heard about Beta 6, checked for updates, and low and behold, it came with the September Update, AND it added Now Brief!!!

But after enabling it, my Now Bar doesn't show up anymore. Thinking I may need a restart, I power-cycled my phone, and that's where the "beta feel" started: Glitchy boot up, stuttering lock screen, animation stick when going from lock screen to home screen.

This doesn't feel like an improvement, it feels like a huge step back.

How did you get beta 3 and beta 4 on S24? There's only 2 betas so far, beta 1 2 weeks ago I believe, and the second beta is only few days ago. I'm curious.

Yeah, 24U is in no better shape.
Now Brief is iffy.

You are correct. Beta 1 for the S24 series came out on Aug 13 2025 and now Beta 2 just came out on Aug 29-30. Some S24 ultra users are getting mixed up with the S25 series and even Gemini has hallucinated saying that the S25 series and the S24 ultra were getting the same beta number that the S25 series got 3,4,5, and now 6. If you look at the dates it's for the one UI 7 that are for those number updates.

Build number and change logs on s25 beta 6 ( ZYHB ) exactly the same, there another build on 8/31 CYHD might be stable or beta 3, whatever it's called but if you check google play store it's certified on ZYHB build. Easy for em to release since not much changed in hardware beside few number adjustment to release for previous device, snapdragon +1, camera +1 ect 😂 so basically latest device will be testing house for previous gen.

Yes, we got 4 beta, we jumped 5, and now we have 6. And it sucks.
