Before the Beta I could plug my phone into my car USB and Android Auto would open up on the car display. After installing the Beta I have to unlock my phone before Android Auto will open on the car display.
I have checked the settings and it is set to start when phone is locked.

Anyone else having this issue and did you find a fix?

I'd clear the app cache, and won't hurt to wipe the phone cache partition for that matter.

I'm having the same issue exactly. Settings are correct but still have to unlock the phone to start AA

This was really frustrating for me too, but I think I found the solution. This new security setting is probably the culprit for requiring an unlock despite the settings in Android Auto settings. I wish we could have this enabled for security but still allow Android Auto to launch1733945832481.jpg

Hello ,

Thank you for your feedback on Android Auto issue.

As @Hirokiyama suggested, please try turning off "Block USB connections while locked" under "More security settings" and see if that resolves the issue. (It not, please submit an error report back to us!)

We appreciate your contribution to the Beta community.

Regards,
