Hi everyone,

I recently bought a Galaxy Book 4 Pro 360. Lately, I started noticing a small bow forming on the screen/lid.

It came to my attention that each time I put the PC in tablet mode, a strong magnet pulls the center of the lid downward, while the rubber feet on the sides slightly raise the edges. This seems to create the bowing effect I’m seeing.

I’m wondering:

  1. Is this normal for this model, or could it be something specific to my unit?

  2. Are there precautions I should take when using tablet mode?

  3. Should I be concerned about long-term effects on the screen or lid?

  4. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, what did you do?

That slight bow isn’t normal — it might be from magnetic tension or hinge pressure. Try avoiding leaving it long in tablet mode and store it flat. If the bend is visible or worsening, I’d recommend getting it checked under warranty before it causes display alignment issues.

Thanks for the insight. The bowing seems to be caused by the strong magnet pulling the center of the lid down in tablet mode while the rubber feet slightly raise the edges. Over time, this has led to a slight bow. It's a shame that such a premium PC with this price tag has this design flaw. I've adjusted the rubber feet to reduce the bowing, and it's less noticeable now. Thanks again for the advice!
