2 weeks ago my android ulefone drowned dead. A few days ago i bot new Galaxie a16 and stared it up = 75% of apps that i had on the old phone showed up but only 15% of my phone contacts list. Is there a way to recover them?
Your contacts should have been backing up to Google. Check at contacts.google.com to see if they are there. If they are, point your contacts app to "all contacts" and that should pull up all your contacts whether they are on your phone or on your SIM or in Google.

thanks realaud - but i guess that i did not back up to google like i should have. The thing that got me wondering that there was still hope as about 16% of them were in fact picked up on the new phone. I will start adding back most of them from my home landline phone one at a time.
