hello everyone

why can everyone make your phone silent without security code or fingerprint or any kind of security methods?

in my pov samsung should make putting phone on the silent mode as more secured as when someone try to make it on the airplan mode or turning the internet off

One scenario: Phone in your pocket, bad guy shows up, you hide and want to instantly silence your phone.

As I said, that particular volume control is for the media only.  It is a convenience feature, so someone wanting to lower the volume of their media can do so without having to unlock their phone.  You actually cannot mute the ringer without unlocking your phone.
