Visual voicemail only plays messages, no transcript

The visual voicemail (green icon 0_0) only plays messages, if it's "visual" I should also be able to read the message. It should make a transcript and show the words. Any suggestions welcome.

Samsung should provide transcription of voicemails. Iphones have had this feature for years. Don't rely on the carriers.

There is / was an app called AT&T Visual Voicemail that did show the text of the message. Sometimes it was funny how it misunderstood the person.

Last I knew, it had gotten less & less able to transcribe so it really didn't work.

I hoped Samsung would make an app that worked.

@Kevin-1701 Visual voicemail allows you to see all the messages, message details and access them in random order. Unlike call in voicemail which forces you to access each message in order. It does not necessarily have anything to do with providing a transcript.

I understand what you are saying, but Samsung should provide a transcription of the voicemail message as part of visual voicemail, not just a list. Iphones have been doing this for years! I thought this would be available when I upgraded to the Samsung s25 but sadly it is not. I can get this service from Verizon if I pay $2.99/month per line.

Transcription is not available in the app that I have circled in the screenshot.

In order to have transcription, you would have to download your carriers' visual voicemail app.
If you are on Verizon on an unlocked device, it is not possible!
Verizon only makes it available to devices purchased through them.
