I Googled this issue as I was repeatedly facing video clarity and quality issue during "Video KYC" with "different vendors" and learned that it is a "widespread" issue with Samsung phones, really I feel so bad and disappointment on buying this expensive phone from this careless, fleecing, cheating brand - I mean it cannot even do an easy and basic job of video KYC??!


To those who are not from India "video kyc" is a facility for paperless and seamless account opening from home which is provided by banking and similar category apps.


During video kyc bank's app connect you with a banking agent via phone front and back camera and you have to show your government IDs to him/her on live camera and do a live signature.


But here is where things get bad, due to some issue or bug with Samsung phones the clarity and quality of government ID photos taken live by video KYC person from "back camera" comes illegible.


So far I have solved this issue by shifting to my mother's cheap China's 10k moto phone, but changing sim and disturbing her every time cannot be a permanent solution.


Why cannot this fleecing, cheating brand fix this issue for all phones via update? Is it that difficult or impossible? I bet BugSung won't even admit or recognise it, rather blame the quality of IDs or user for it.
