The new Samsung emojis look childish

The new Samsung emojis are disgusting and childish. 

I just got the Samsung a16, i had been using the a12 earlier and finally got a new phone.  I thought everything was fine until I went to send a text to my friend and saw how disgusting the emojis were. I seriously wish there was a way to use the old ones because its just plain gross. Does anyone agree? Is there a way I can use the old ones?

The way they are shaped and colored/rendered.

Am I missing something? Weren't the emoji most recently updated in like 2023?

I believe the emoji were updated several years ago to be more cohesive cross-platform. There is no way to revert to the old style that I am aware of.

Oh really? I had been using a really old phone that never got these changes, They're new to me.

Yeah, they were changed almost 3 years ago at this point. The previous emoji was so different from iOS that users would send/receive emoji and there would often be miscommunication about what exactly the emoji was supposed to be. The new ones aren't exactly like ios, but they're closer to avoid confusion.

You can create your own stickers that can be used in lieu of the emojis I think.
