My phone runs smoothly at first but 2 mins later it starts lagging and I know it's not because of wifi, any help?

CPU stands for "central processing unit." Some games are graphically demanding and can stress the CPU.

If the game booster is available on the A16 (and it may not be, since it's the lowest end of the low end phones), do a search for it in the settings.  If you intend to use a device for gaming, you should use a higher end phone.  Budget phones are designed to be phones that do some stuff.  Advanced gaming is not one of the stuff.

It seems you have a low end phone that does not have a processor robust enough to handle heavy game play.  This type of phone is best used for games that do not use a lot of processing power, like solitaire.
