I am having a problem that seems to be related to the Android 15 update.
I find no way to contact Android or Samsung directly, so I am hoping someone here can help me.

I have a Samsung Galaxy A35 5G phone & have never used the (Samsung) Gallery app that came pre-installed on the phone (& unfortunately, I cannot Disable or Uninstall it).
When I have taken pictures & videos in the past, they were ALWAYS listed in (PhotoZen Studio's) Gallery app & I was able to easily navigate through them.

On 6/9/2025, I updated my phone to Android 15 (One UI v7.0).
Since then, all photos & videos I take get listed in (Samsung's) Gallery app & NOT (PhotoZen's) Gallery app.

I have went into the (Samsung) Gallery app to make sure 'Sync with OneDrive' is off & I turned off ALL other settings, blocked Notifications & turned off ALL Permissions (except Photos & Videos, I am not allowed to turn those off).
I opened the Google Files app & my pictures & videos are indeed on my SD Card, but I can open them ONLY through the Samsung Gallery app.
The only setting in the Camera app that makes sense in this scenario, is 'Storage Location' & that is set to SD Card.
I went into (PhotoZen's) Gallery app, double-checked all my settings & everything is set the way I like it; nothing has changed.

So I am stumped.
Why are my pictures & videos now being listed in the (Samsung) Gallery app & no longer in the (PhotoZen Studio) Gallery app?
How do I make sure all pictures & videos go into the Gallery app from PhotoZen Studio (the way they always had before the Android 15 update)?

I wonder if the big problem is under-the-hood.  Where the Camera is sending photos & videos to the Gallery, but since both Samsung's & PhotoZen's apps are named Gallery, that's where this mix-up is & the Camera is sending pictures only to Samsung's Gallery.

@J-69 The photos aren't sent to any Gallery app. They are stored in a specific folder. You can think of the Samsung Gallery app as a File management tool which specializes in photos. The Samsung Gallery app looks for photos across your device.

It sounds like the PhotoZen Studio Gallery app doesn't have permission to see your SD card.
