For about two weeks now, I've been experiencing a problem on my Galaxy A50 that I can't resolve. In fact, almost every day, and sometimes even two or three times a day, but especially in the morning, at different times each time (6:07 AM, 6:20 AM, 8:17 AM, 8:35 AM, etc.), I get an audible alarm (which really sounds like an alert, but unlike anything I've ever heard on my phone) with no display, even a subtle one.
This alarm overrides DND mode.
I've disabled all Cell Broadcast alerts, without success.
I disabled via ADB: com.android.cellbroadcastreceiver com.android.cellbroadcastservice com.google.android.overlay.modules.cellbroadcastreceiver com.google.android.overlay.modules.cellbroadcastservice com.sec.android.emergencylauncher without success.
The phone is fully updated.
I don't know what else to try, and I'm tired of being woken up every day at all hours.
I think I finally found the culprit. I uninstalled the last app installed SB Drive, which had no right to override the DND, and since then I haven't had any phantom alerts.
Download Good Lock's Nice Catch and turn on sound history. After you next hear the sound, open the app to find out which app is causing the sound. You didn't by any chance download an app called simple bible, did you? That app chimes at certain times. That alarm can be turned off in the app settings. If that's not the app, Nice Catch will tell you which one it is

I had A 545G that had an alarm sound like emergency sound and the screen was frozen/locked it keep sounding until the battery died. Then when I charged it up the touch screen wouldn't respond neither did the side button tricks to reset. Anyone know anything about this?? I don't need a resolution to fix as I have since traded it for the S25. Just sharing my experience and curious because it was crazy and nobody I talked to has heard about this.
