Hello again, it was the last chance, and samsung basically did not care about my feedback, the november update is yet another "security" patch, nothing more, nothing less, so yeah, they did NOT fix the horrendously fast app opening animation, and the nearly non existant widget opening animations, and NO they did not fix the control panel lag when you swipe down quickly or do a little swipe, and NO they did not fix the green line that appears in the update page in the right side. And to those who say "wait for one ui 8.5" you must've forgot that samsung this year sent a huge update for the galaxy A56 in the middle of the year if i am not mistaken, giving it the new charging animation and the side press for gemini etc, so samsung CAN fix these issues without the need for a major update. Man i have a redmi 13 pro 4G not 5G, it's far cheaper than the galaxy A56, and guess what, at first it didn't have any app opening animation at all, but after the fans complained a lot, xiaomi basically sent a huge update giving them THE FLAGSHIP TYPE OF ANIMATIONS with the ability to change its speed NATIVELY in the launcher settings without the need for an app to be installed (goodlock i'm looking at you) any way, thank y'all for reading.

Yes, it is!

95% of users don't care about animations!

They probably do that fast opening and closing of apps too. Whenever I see those ridiculous videos, I'm like who uses their phone that way.

They probably follow PhoneArt/ Ice Universe on X. He has been the single most driving force behind this ridiculous animation bruhahah !

I do not see any green line either - at least not in the sense that others have complained about it as a screen defect on the folds.  The only green lines I see appear to be design elements of the header.

If you don't want to download Good Lock and the HomeUp to fix your issues with animations that is your prerogative. You have told how to fix things on numerous occasions to get them exactly how you would like your animations to feel.

As to your screenshot of the green bar on the update page, seriously, how often do you have to look at it, once or twice a month. I get nitpicking, but that is on another level.

I can't believe that people *still* a) think Good Lock is a third party app, rather than completely integrated into the operating system, and b) don't think they should have to do anything to make things work the way they want, as if Samsung knows individual preferences (the whole reason Good Lock exists).

I want these people to verify that they have never ever downloaded an app from the Play store to do something their phone did not do.

You can control animation speeds in developer options.

For the record, I have an A54, and I don't have any issue with app opening animations or widget opening animations.  That just might be because I actually pay no attention whatsoever to animations.  When I tap an icon, I expect my app to open and open quickly, if there is any animation effect other than opening I don't see it.  I use very few widgets that actually open (rather than just sit on the screen), however, they, too, open quickly.  So I am not quite sure what you are getting at when you say "horrendously fast" animations or "nonexistent" widget animations.  Also, pulling down my control panel/notification shade also has an instant response.

Try enabling developer options (settings/about phone/software information/tap the build number rapidly 7-10 times).  Go to developer options and look for or search for "animation".  Three options should come up - Transition animation scale, window animation scale and animator duration scale.  Change the value up or down on any/all of these options and see if that improves the animation experience for you.  The default value is "1", but there is an option to turn it off, slow it down to ".5", or speed it up up to 10x.  Fiddle with one setting at a time so you can tell which setting is for the app opening or for the widgets.  Before you say you shouldn't have to do that, Samsung should just fix it, understand that animation and animation speed is a personal preference and some people don't want, need or care about animations, where it seems to be important to others.  Some people have neurological or visual conditions which would make animations painful or dangerous, which is why animations can be reduced in accessibility settings.  What you think is broken is not broken at all, there are options to customize to your preferences.

I cannot address the "green line" issue, as a green line never appeared on my phone, and I thought it was a display defect issue, judging by the comments.
