A Series & Other MobileI have 2 samsung products that can't find the miracast receiver despite being on the same WiFi.
My desktop window machine finds it, and it works fine.
I can't access Smart View on any app store, only Smart Things. Smart Things can't find it. Third party apps can't find it.
Both Samsung products are up to date, Android 14.
Phone A14 5g, Tablet Tab A7 Lite

A Series & Other MobileHello Huahua, welcome to the Samsung Community! I understand your concerns with not being able to find the Smart View feature on your device and tablet. Smart View can be used with Galaxy phones and tablets running Android 4.3 or above and with devices that support Miracast wireless display technology. Your phone or tablet must be connected to the same network as your TV in order to use this function. If Smart View is not working, restarting or rebooting your device will usually solve the issue. Keep in mind that DRM-protected contents cannot be mirrored.
Please Note: Smart View screen mirroring is not available on all devices.
Your phone or tablet should be connected to the same network as your Smart TV. Swipe down from the top right of your deviceās screen to open the Quick settings panel, and then touch and hold the Wi-Fi icon to open your device's Wi-Fi settings. Here you can check if it's connected to the right network and can change it if needed.
Additionally, disconnect from your VPN if a VPN setting error occurs.
Swipe down from the top right of your deviceās screen to open the Quick settings panel. Tap the Smart View icon, and then select your TV. If your TV requires permission, you will need to select ALLOW on your TV.
Most Samsung TVs can be rebooted by pressing and holding the TV's Power button on the remote until you see the Samsung logo. You can also unplug the AC power cord, and then plug it back in. For other TV brands, check with the manufacturer.
Reboot your Galaxy phone or tablet by pressing and holding the Side button and Volume down button until the power menu appears. Tap Restart, and then tap Restart again.

A Series & Other MobileSmart View is not available on either device. Not available on the galaxy store or Google store either.
I go to settings, search and type smart view, there is nothing.
I use the link in the samsung website for Smart View and it says " item not found".
I think I need to just buy a different brand to miracast from.
