I have the Galaxy A36. When I pick my phone up my screen brightness automatically happens until I unlock my A36. How do I turn that off? I already turned off auto brightness. That doesn't stop it.

A Series & Other MobileHello ScorpionStinger,
Thanks for reaching out for assistance. I see you already mentioned you already turned off the auto-brightness feature.
For more clarification, are you wanting to disable the Screen Wake feature?
To disable this: Navigate to Settings > Advanced features > Motions and gestures and toggle off "Lift to Wake" and "Double tap to turn off screen". Additionally, disable "Wake screen for notifications" under lock screen settings to prevent the screen from lighting up with alerts.
- Disable Lift to Wake: Go to Settings > Advanced features > Motions and gestures > Toggle off Lift to wake.
- Disable Double Tap to Wake: Go to Settings > Advanced features > Motions and gestures > Toggle off Double tap to turn on screen.
- Disable Notification Wake: Go to Settings > Notifications > Lock screen notifications > Turn off Wake screen.
- Prevent Pocket Activation: In Settings, go to Display and enable Accidental touch protection to prevent the phone from waking in your pocket or bag.
Please let me know if this helps! 🙂
