How do I set up visual voicemail not through my cell server?

Person at T mobile said there is a way to get free visual voicemail mail on the basic service but their app ( visual voicemail mail says I can't). She said she had basic and it comes with visual voicemail. I am very disabled and need it. Can anyone tell me what to do to enable that feature?

Sorry but Visual Voicemail is a paid service provided by the Carrier and I don't know of any free way to get it.

Sometimes when I am on the phone it just goofy and I can't even hear the person I'm talking to. Then it comes backon

It should have read that it cuts off and I don't hear their voice for a few seconds and then it comes back on.

To make your own post, start on the Community page.  On the lower right you will see a circled square with a pencil icon.  Tap the pencil and create a new post, adding a header, and then type your issue (don't try to put your entire issue into the header).  When you are satisfied with what you wrote, tap the "post" icon.  And, don't keep asking questions in a thread you were repeatedly told not to hijack.

@Nemesisgal You could always use Google Voice for your voicemail. Essentially the steps are:

  1. Sign up for a free Google Voice number.
  2. Configure your call forwarding settings to use the Google Voice number. You would set (a) Forward when busy, (b) Forward when unanswered, and (c) Forward when unreachable.
