I can testify Gorilla Glass 6 is definitely clumsy proof, I accidentally dropped my phone faced down on a tile floor and there is no crack or break because of the phones brilliant raised edges that protect the glass.

I stopped using a screen protector long ago. I dedicate a clean pocket for carry and 🤞
Fingerprint is 1st time every time, as long as it's clean.

Thank you all for your responses stopped using a screen protector myself but someone out of envy scribbled a 3 on the back of the phone its not visible but its still annoying. 

Anyway just a couple of months till i head back to Manchester.

I just wanted to appreciate all the Samsung engineers that did make a phone that is this durable. All other phones have shattered i wonder if its Army and Navy grade tough. Certainly seems like it.
