And in all honesty the update is not good, the app opening animation is completely destroyed, it's so fast and stuttery, even on the adaptive refresh rate, i wish the samsung members app lets you publish a video, it is a complete disaster, the new dynamic wallpaper they added is a good addition but only if it WORKS, and i mean the blur is broken everytime, maybe because of "HARDWARE LIMITATIONS" i do not know why they consider this device weak if it can run genshin no problem. Also the battery is getting far worse compared to the one ui 7, so guys if you have a galaxy a56 please wait, dont upgrade.

And i DO NOT WANT ANYONE TO TELL ME "just use good lock" F no i won't fix a problem that wasn't even there in one ui 7. Making the smooth animations exclusive for S/Z is wild in 2025 especially for a phone that is 500 bucks. So congrats sammy fans, now smooth animations are behind a paywall for god's sake
Might be a blessing in disguise! Check for issues with the One UI 8 update on Galaxy S phones. The update has broken the Secure Folder on the S2 series and other phones and I am hoping it will be fixed in the next update.
