Wondering why I cannot turn off the "call from other devices" on my A16. It keeps saying can't connect.

Open Settings: On your Galaxy A16, go to your phone's main Settings app.

Navigate to Connected devices: Tap on "Connected devices".

Find the feature: Tap the "Call & text on other devices" option.

Turn it on: Toggle the switch next to "Call on other devices" to enable the feature.

Select devices: Choose the other Samsung devices (like a tablet or watch) you want to allow calls from.

Enable on other devices: Repeat these steps on the other Samsung device(s) you wish to use for calls. Both devices must be signed into the same Samsung account for the connection to be established.

Once configured, you can make and receive calls from your other Samsung devices just as you would on your A16. For example, if a call comes in, you can answer it on your tablet instead of your phone

If you don't have another eligible Samsung device, it has nothing to connect to. If you turn the setting on, it will likely turn itself off if it does not "see" another device. This feature can only be used between a phone and tablets or laptops, not another phone or a watch. If you turned it on and it can't find another device to connect to, go to settings, connected devices, call and text on other devies and toggle it off. There used to be a quick panel toggle, but I believe it is gone now.
