Apps taking an infuriating time to open

When I open any app such as the camera app it stays on a black screen for like 4-5 seconds then loads and it has driven me mad and im even thinking about switching to something like apple or Google since none of their phones have this issue also ive tested this on a s24u and a54 and both the same results , this is not only for the camera app but for all apps can someone help.

Have you cleared the phone cache

I did that and it barely made a difference

What's your storage look like it is close to full

I have like 30gb left it's a 125gb phone

My thinking is storage related it does affect performance some if you have apps or games you dont use can uninstall those to clear up space

I don't think it's storage related since my aunts s24u also does it after she had it for like a month but I did just now delete apps I don't use

Have you cleared the *camera* cache? You are thinking of switching because the problem is singular to your particular device? This is not a universal problem with all Samsung phones. This is a problem with *your* phone.

Yes I've cleared the cameras cache multiple times and it still hasn't fixed the problem that's when I decided to post the question on here

Well a camera could take several seconds to focus when the app opens. I never noticed a significant delay - less than 2 seconds of black till focused. I have an A54. I assure you that if this was a widespread issue among Samsung phones, you would see hundreds of posts about it at all times; so many people consider the camera the most important feature of their phone.
