Samsung A53 phone keypad page no longer has the option to choose speakerphone. I have no idea how I managed to remove the speakerphone option. Thank you.
You cannot remove it, it's built into the phone dialer app. You can try going to the app info/storage and deleting the cache and data. If you haven't already, wipe the phone's cache partition. The speaker option, as you may already know, only appears on the call screen when the call is active, so if you are not seeing it when you go to dial, it's because it's not there. If all else fails, download one of the Google dialers from the Play store. You are not required to use the Samsung dialer, it's just more convenient because it's there. Is your phone carrier locked or factory unlocked? On carrier locked phones, the carrier has the ability to alter the configuration of the call screen.
