Hi All,
I have a A33 5G SM-A336E (Dual SIM) that will no longer register on any mobile network, I believe its because of the latest update.

The amount of mobile data it used for this month was 9mb and the latest update was installed on 1st Nov which aligns to think it was the newest update.  The phone has 2 SIM's on different networks and neither of them work (both work fine in another device).

What the phone can do:
It can search and find mobile networks.
It can register as emergency calls.
If wifi calling is enabled the sims 'come alive' and wifi calling works.

What it cant do.
Register on any mobile network!

What I've tried:
Flight mode Toggle / Phone Reboots
Deleting all data / cache on Sim Toolkit apps.
Network reset
Full Factory reset
Odin re-flash to previous firmware version.
Checked with providers that the IMEI(s) are not blocked

Using *#0011# and toggling flight mode off / on briefly shows a LTE state but gone within 3 seconds.

It appears the ability to toggle LTE calling on / off is gone from all menu functions. I really don't think the phone radio is faulty, but I really have tried everything!

Any other suggestions anyone might try?

Calm your network carriers and arrange for a new esim. Delete old esims.

Did you get the newest update OTA or by flashing it? You didn't mention the model number - US or international?

Have you tried any other SIM (individually and or dual)? Have you visited your carrier for assistance/get new SIMs?

Its international (NZ).  Original Update was OTA  re-flashed from full  FW for correct country, ive tried a variety of other SIM's and none work

Android usually doesn't override a newer firmware with an older version. However, try to flash it with one or two previous versions, then use OTA for the last functioning/good firmware. Without details on the firmware that you used, I can't tell if you flashed with a NZ firmware or US firmware since you're on the US/North American community forum.

Remove both SIM cards, factory reset the phone again, flash with a firmware prior to the last known good firmware, use OTA to update to the last known good firmware, power off and install SIM cards (you can try one at a time) to see if you're registered to your mobile network.

This may be what's happening to my A53 5g also. Following here for possible remedy.
