A14 missing date and time

After the ui7 update i no longer have my date and time icon. I have the time in the upper left corner but the icon where date and time use to be is the timer   icon which I removed.

A screenshot would help. Also, did you clear device cache after the update?

1) Turn off your device.

2) Press and hold the Volume Up button and the Side/Power button until you feel a vibration and the Samsung logo appears. Let go of the buttons.

3) You will now be in Android recovery. Use the Volume buttons to highlight "Wipe cache partition."

4) Press the Side/Power button to execute.

5) Use the Volume buttons to highlight "Yes."

6) Press the Side/Power button to execute.

7) "Reboot system now" will already be highlighted. Press the Side/Power button to execute.

By default only the time is shown. Since your have an A14, i think that you will need to use Fine Lock to access the QuickStar module. You can enable the date there.

I figured out to use a widget for it. That is what my A15 has. 

I hate the changes the ui7 made. Why mess up something that is fine?
